The chief of the World Health Organization (WHO) has urged China to cooperate better in the next phase of probe into the origins of the pandemic, and has asked for improved access to raw data.

WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that WHO was laying the foundation in order to move forward with a fresh probe into the origin of the coronavirus that caused the COVID-19 pandemic. He expressed hope that there will be better cooperation. He also added that one of the major challenges during the first phase of the investigation was inability to access raw data.
